Khmelnytsky Regional State Laboratory of the Food Safety and Consumer Protection
Khmelnytskyi Regional State Laboratory of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection is a laboratory and diagnostic institution authorized by the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
The Laboratory is accredited in accordance with the requirements of DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025:2019 by the National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine (accreditation certificate No. 20757 dated January 22, 2022).

- Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:15
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
- Lunch break: 13:00 - 14:00
About the laboratory
Khmelnytsky Regional State Laboratory has been operating since 1983.
It provides a wide range of services for research of animal and plant products, feed, laboratory diagnostics of animal diseases.
To ensure external quality control of laboratory tests, a professional and experienced team of specialists annually takes an active part in interlaboratory rounds of professional testing.
Carries out:
- microbiological, radiological, chemical and toxicological, bacteriological, mycological, ichthyopathological, virological, immunological, parasitological, pathological, molecular genetic, physicochemical and chromatographic studies (tests) of food products and raw materials of animal, vegetable and biotechnological origin;
- water research;
- research of biological and pathological material;
- veterinary and sanitary expertise and determination of indicators of any substances (including those from the environment) related to the production and circulation of food and feed, animal health and welfare.

Areas of research
The laboratory diagnoses animal diseases and assesses the veterinary and sanitary condition of food products, by-products of animal origin, feed additives, premixes, feed, reproductive material, biological products and biotechnology products, soil, drinking water, as well as conducts laboratory studies (tests) of safety and quality indicators of sanitary measures, factors of the human environment that have a harmful effect on public health, quality and independent examination of goods, as well as other.
